My undergraduate thesis examined the host plant preferences of a generalist herbivore, the meadow spittlebug. While conducting independent fieldwork on Kent Island (NB, Canada), I measured spittlebug density and growth on some common host plants, and measured the effects of fertilizer on nymph development.
