Zoe Makepeace Wood
Zoe is an ecologist and visual artist.
Zoe graduated from Bowdoin College with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and minor in Latin American Studies (2018), and is currently a PhD candidate at University of California, Davis in the Graduate Group of Ecology.
Her scientific and artistic work employ observation, inquiry, and intuition as means to understand and direct attention to fleeting natural phenomena. She is interested in community ecology, phenology, plant-insect interactions, spatiotemporal dynamics, natural history, and equitable and experiential education.
